Facts about Curd by Dr Ayurveda
According to Ayurveda, the consumption of curd at night is not advisable, as it leads to mucus formation. Because, curd has both sweet and sour properties, having it at night may cause mucus development in the nasal passage. As per Ayurveda, Kapha Dosha increases at night. People with digestive issues, should avoid curd at night as it may cause constipation, when the system is sluggish and sleep-ready. And for those who are suffering from cold and cough, they must avoid curd at night. Especially, if you are struggling with asthma, then you may feel suffocated so easily.
