Tips for Pregnant Women

In Ayurveda, pregnancy is considered a very sacred and delicate phase of a woman's life. The goal is to ensure the better health of both mother and baby.
Daily Routine (Dinacharya):
* Wake up early: Ideally before sunrise.
* Oral hygiene: Use a soft toothbrush and natural toothpaste (like herbal powders).
* Oil pulling (Gandusha): Sesame oil or coconut oil to strengthen gums and remove toxins.
* Body massage (Abhyanga): Gentle daily oil massage with sesame or coconut oil helps reduce stress and promotes circulation.
* Bathing: Use lukewarm water, avoid hot water.
* Yoga & Pranayama: Gentle stretches, Deep breathing (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari), Avoid intense poses or breath-holding
* Diet (Ahara): Follow a sattvic diet – fresh, warm, cooked foods with ghee, milk, fruits, and grains.
* Rest: Afternoon naps are encouraged. Avoid excessive physical strain.
* Mental wellness: Listen to calming music, read positive literature, stay in a cheerful environment.
